ProRep Tortoise Life Substrate ProRep is a species-specific life series of substrates to meet the needs of tortoises. It is a 1:1 ratio of high-quality topsoil and sand with a little limestone grit to provide some Calcium if the substrate is eaten. The mixture has the same texture and moisture retention as the soils found in tortoise’s natural habitats, particularly the Mediterranean and Russian species. Also suitable for many species of lizards.
